Deanna is a Gadigal woman born in Sydney, has four younger brothers all born on Gadigal Country. Her Father, a Wiradjuri man who was born in the NSW Riverina district and her mother a Wonnarua woman was from Hunter region of NSW.
Deanna has been an Artist for many years. Many of Deanna’s art works are sold locally and overseas. Deanna is an active member of the community and Chairperson of Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation.

Stuart Fraser is a Wiradjuri man who lives in the Sutherland Shire. Stuart is the Director of SWF Construction Group PTY LTD and is passionate about increasing Aboriginal employment, in particular in the area of construction.
Stuart is also the ‘Rear Commodore’ of the Royal Motor Yacht Club – Port Hacking.
Ann is a Wiradjuri Woman from Dubbo. Ann has extensive experience in accounting/finance and also Aboriginal education which she has gained over the last 45 years. She has raised 3 children in the Sutherland Shire where she has been a resident for 43 years.
Ann is a founding member of Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation. Ann has managed and worked on many programs to assist Aboriginal people to obtain gainful employment and education. Ann is committed to furthering conditions for Aboriginal people.
Karen is a Wiradjuri descendant from her fathers’ side, Robinson/Towney family. She has lived off Country most of her life and was sheltered from her Aboriginal identity for most of her childhood for fear of peoples misunderstanding and her emotional wellbeing by her paternal Grandmother.
She is a Board member of Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation, actively engaging in community as well as working with NSW Department of Education as an Aboriginal Education Officer and is passionate about sharing our culture with youth.
She encourages and nurtures Aboriginal students to have pride in their cultural identity and share it with their peers and within our community in addition to supporting their academic success through targeted programs.
Amy Lea Hill is a Kamilaroi woman. Her grandparents were born on the Caroona Mission at Qurindi, near Wee Waa and Narribri and they also resided in La Perouse.
Amy herself grew up in the Sutherland Shire. She has worked in Kurranulla as a support worker, ability linker and for Koori Kids playgroup.
Amy has been on the board for 2 years now and for the last 5 years built up a reputable art business called DEWRANG ART under the guidance of Elders and Kurranulla.
